Shipping, Cancellation & Returns

We assure you that all products sold on website are new and 100% genuine. In the unlikely event that any merchandise you have bought from us is not received in good condition, is damaged or defective, customers may exchange the merchandise unused, and in the same condition as he / she purchased it, in its original packaging along with original tags and bills. It would be mandatory to provide opening video to us.

If you have received an item in a ‘Damaged’ or ‘Defective’ condition, or it is ‘Not as Described’, you may request a replacement at no extra cost

  • The buyer needs to intimate within 3 days of receipt of goods/product about the reason for seeking refund.
  • Replacement is subject to availability of stock. If the product is out of stock, you will receive a full refund, no questions asked. You may, however, look at existing stock and order a replacement from the same, subject to the same or lower price.
  • Upon receipt of the returned we will ascertain the condition of the artwork prior to issuing refund/replacement. The artwork will not be eligible for refund in case further damages are found.
  • Upon return, the article will undergo a quality check to ensure the quality problem is found to be our responsibility rather than misuse or abuse of the product outside of our control. Once the returned product passes the quality check to ensure it is unused and in its original packaging stage, an exchange/refund will be processed as per our policies.

Return requests are not accepted for below situations

  1. Cancellation / refund of a customised size handmade painting that is already made, but unable to ship or delayed in transit
  2. Cancellation / refund request of artwork that is already printed, but unable to ship or delayed in transit
  3. Cancellation / refund request of artwork that is already framed, but unable to ship or delayed in transit
  4. Cancellation / refund request of portrait that is already made, but unable to ship or delayed in transit
  5. Cancellation / refund requests for orders already shipped or delayed in transit
  6. Cancellation / refund requests for orders delayed due to lockdown/restrictions in your location
  7. Cancellation /refund requests for order delayed due to some Natural reason like rain, flood etc

If you raise cancellation requests within 2 hours of placing the order, we will accept those requests. If artist has not begin work on your project, or if we have not printed the canvas, or framed the artwork – then we can accept cancellations after few days after order as well. Handmade paintings in default size and unframed, can be cancelled anytime, if not shipped.

For artworks delivered in India.

Please note we accept return requests only for unframed paintings delivered in India. Customers must raise return request within 3 days of receipt of goods/ Product(s). We do not accept return requests for framed paintings.

For artworks delivered outside India.

We do not accept return requests for paintings delivered outside India owing to customs/shipping complications in bringing them back. In order to give a clearer picture on what to expect, International customers can request us for additional images of the artwork before we ship, by sending us an email on after the order is placed. Once the painting is about to be shipped, we will take  images and send to you for approval. We will ship only when you approve. You can also raise refund request at this stage if you find painting not matching your expectations. Please note images are not shared for customised prints or prints as no difference is expected there. Refunds are only issued for default size paintings. For custom size hand paintings, we will revise the artwork based on your feedback until you are satisfied.

Returns for Customized Artworks

Returns are not accepted for Custom Sized Artworks irrespective of whether its ordered framed or unframed, delivered in India or outside India. However customers can request for additional images to be emailed before shipping. Our artists will revise the painting if needed, based on your inputs and until you are satisfied with the outcome.

Procedure for return of products

  • Please contact us through email and provide the Order id details. Alternatively, you can click on the Return Order link in the footer and fill the required details.
  • Customer Support will confirm the return request and will inform you .
  • Please ensure that the product return is initiated within 3 days of receipt of the article.
  • Please ensure that product is in unused and original condition and also Include all price tags, labels, original packing and invoice along with the product opening video is mandatory.
  • We support replacement across categories in case of damaged item. In case of refund, the entire amount paid by you including shipping will be processed back to the original form of payment. The time taken will be governed by our policies of our payment partner.
  •  You can ship the product through any courier service to us. You will be reimbursed the shipping charges against the original receipt.
  • Made-to-order/custom products cannot be replaced or returned.

Return Process
If eligible for returns, please contact us through email and provide the Order id details. Alternatively, you can click on the Return Order link in the footer and fill the required details. you can raise return request in your aangan doree account, or you can also drop us an email mentioning which items you would like to return. Our staff will provide packing instructions . If you had paid online using cards / online banking – we will refund to the same account. If you had paid using NEFT/RTGS – we will ask you for your bank account number and IFSC code for processing refunds. We do not levy any return fee.

We do not arrange pickup for return rather we will pay for normal shipping charges

Shipping Policy

  • After confirmation of order from our customer support team, products are couriered within three business working days or refer product description in-case of made to order products. Time taken to Dispatch a product depends upon the type of the product and Quantity. Large Quantities generally take more than usual time which are conveyed to the customers once the order is confirmed.
  • Information regarding the Airway Bill number will be communicated to the buyer after the products are dispatched.
  • We have tied up with Shiprocket for shipping our products. Please refer the shipping partner  site for more details
  • Delivery charge vary depending on the customer’s  location and weight of the product ( with packing) ordered.
  • Custom duty charges, if any in your country, will be borne by customer.

For Lost Shipments

In rare case of lost shipments, we will offer full refunds irrespective of the delivery location or framing state.

The product will have to be self-shipped to us in the same condition it was delivered. Angan Doree would pay for the return shipping along with the amount equal to the Paid amount for the artwork.

REFUND period depends on the transit time for us to receive your return, our internal process and the bank’s processing time.
